Remove service from services.msc

Posted on May 14, 2018May 20, 2019

This short post is for those who accidentally added a service to services.msc.
In my case it was a oracle-listener with a typo.

There is an easy way to remove the unwanted entry:

open a cmd (as admin)

C:\>sc.exe delete OracleTNSListenerWRONGNAME
[SC] DeleteService SUCCESS

That’s it!
